The Entertainment District located in Downtown Kalamazoo offers dining, nightlife, private parties, special events and destination weddings. We are focused on creating a big city experience with incredibly designed  facilities, first class service, amazing food, and high energy entertainment.

Responsibilities

The wedding planner is repsonsible for the marketing, sales, service and ongoing communicaton of all weddings and private parties held in the entertainment district, as well as the setup and oversight of the Entertainment Districts 5+ yearly special events.

Requirements:

- A positive attitude, and well kept appearence.

- Well organized, with solid planning experience.

- 2+ years experience in selling weddings, private parties and managing special events of 100+ people or more.

- Computer & software skills that include >>outlook, excel, event management software..etc.

- The desire and ability to work 50+ hours per week, including weekends as needed.

- Wedding Planning Certification
